Lisa Halvorsen (bio), one of our top trainers at Crossfire, will direct these sessions. Volleyball skill camps are for aspring young players who are going into 3rd to 8th grade in the fall. Each camp will run for four consecutive days (Monday through Thursday) for 1.5 hours per session. All camps will be led by an experienced Crossfire coach who will emphasize fundamental skill development. Of particular emphasis will be the overhand serve, forearm passing, overhead passing and attacking. Each of the three sessions will have the same structure for skill development, but will incorporate new drills and activities for those who want to attend multiple sessions.

Volleyball Skill Classes - Ages 8-18
Volleyball skills classes offer you the flexibility to train on your own schedule during the summer months. These one-hour training sessions are offered Monday through Thursday from June 17th to August 9th. Each class will consist of a brief warmup time, focus on one or more skill development areas, and a game play activity.
Youth Volleyball Skills Classes - Ages 8-11
1pm Class - General Skills Class
Build a solid foundation of fundamental skills through the Youth Skills Class. Young volleyball athletes will have fun while learning the core concepts of the sport.
The core volleyball skills will be emphasized - footwork & movement, serving, passing and attacking. Coaches have the freedom to adapt and customize the session given the needs and desires of each group.
Efficient movement to make an effective play on the ball
Mastering the overhand serve for consistency and increasing velocity
Delivering accurate passes by developing forearm and overhead skills
Attacking the ball to increase kill efficiency and put pressure on the defense
Packages will be sold through Velocity and can be purchased in quantities of 12, 24, 36 and 48. In the same morning you can use your session credits for a volleyball skills class and a Velocity strength and agility class.

Volleyball Private Lessons
Expert coaches will be available for individual training through private lessons this summer. A schedule will be released by May 31, 2013.
